My Secret Method To Insane Organic Reach

My Secret Method To Insane Organic Reach

In my last article, I shared how you can repurpose your Instagram content into short-form videos also known as Reels.

Today, I’m going to be sharing with you my secret method to insane organic reach and how you can repurpose Reels across multiple social media platforms

Repurposing Reels can help increase opportunities for you to reach new audiences and save time creating new content. Here are the 9 ways that you can do to do this.

#1: Instagram feed

Before you hit the share button, just ensure that you have switched the toggle on “Also share to feed”.

#2: Facebook Reels

Instagram allows you to directly publish your Reels to Facebook. All you have to do is to allow to recommend on Facebook, turn that toggle on.

You really can easily get more eyeballs, which means you’re reaching more people

#3: YouTube Shorts

Creating YouTube shorts is just another way that you can connect with your audience in a short-form video format. It can be anywhere between 15 to 60 seconds and it’s similar to Reels.

I do not have a YouTube channel, but I did try it out to see if it is worth repurposing onto YouTube shots. I’ve uploaded about 6-8 videos if I’m not mistaken and the first few videos got about 2000 views, which is not bad for organic reach. I even got 8 subscribers from that (and I’m not even a YouTuber).

You do have to be careful with the music that is used in that video. It’s best to save the video without the audio and just upload original music or audio that’s available on YouTube itself.

#4: Pinterest

Pinterest created story pins, which are now known as ideal pins as a new way for creators to build and grow with Pinterest.

According to Pinterest, an idea pin is a new type of pin and publishing option that gives creators a way to tell dynamic and visual stories with videos voice over an image, and text overlay. These idea pins are distributed across the home feed and search results.

This feature is a goldmine for business owners. My Reels have been repurposed onto that platform and my reach and engagement have just gone off the roof with about 4.1k monthly views so, in my view for organic traffic, that is great.

#5: TikTok

Reels are similar to TikTok. When repurposing your Reels on TikTok, it is best to remove the Instagram Reels watermark with the help of apps like Instagram Downloader.

Since the platforms are very similar, you will most likely find the same audio that you use on your Reels so download the video without the audio from Reels and find the same audio from TikTok itself. By doing this,  your posts might actually perform better on the platform natively.

#6: Facebook and Instagram stories

People use Instagram and Facebook in just a variety of ways. Since they are already watching Reels, they are most likely interested in Stories

#7: LinkedIn

You might think of LinkedIn as a job marketplace but over the years, LinkedIn has really evolved. It is now a platform where you can showcase your expertise, share your thoughts, opinions and leadership and even build your personal brand.

Some might find sharing videos like dancing videos, just might be too much for that platform but for me, why not go against the grain? By doing this, you are really standing out from the crowd. You would get great engagement and even organic reach.

#8: Own Reels and other Social Media Platforms

I’ve been doing this lately, especially on days when I do not have pre-recorded content. Share the best-performing ones, or even the ones that didn’t perform so well.

For the ones that didn’t perform so well, spruce it up a bit by changing the audio and adding more text if needed.

#9: Website

Aside from posting your old Reels on other social media platforms, you can share it elsewhere like on your website.

Put your Reels on your “About You” page to show your personality and your audience actually gets to connect with you through that video.

There you have it! Go ahead and try that out and repurpose your Reels on all these different social media platforms.
