How To Sell More When No One Seems To Want To Buy

We might seem like we are in an economic crisis where no one wants to invest.



Well, it’s time to flip the script!



Think of it the other way around. It is because of the current situation we are all in, people have more time on their hands.



A time where a percentage of people may have come to a realisation that their future is not secure. People are losing jobs or the hours are being cut back.



This may have prompted people to dig deeper into what their souls desire. They might be looking to start a new business or even focusing on a side hustle that has been on pause or looking to make their side hustle their main hustle.



Although we may seem like we are in a difficult situation, really we are not. People are looking around to invest in their future selves.



I’m going to be sharing with you 5 ways on how to sell more when no one seems to want to buy.




Create a new offer of if you already have a range of low ticket offers, identify and focus on one offer that your ideal client wants.

Your offer should be….

  • Bite-size
  • Easy to digest
  • Actionable within the week
  • Solves a specific problem



Example 1: 60 minutes strategy session

Instead of your usual 3, 6, 9 and 12 months 1:1 coaching. A short 60 minutes coaching session would be great for your ideal client to see what it’s like to coach with you.



Example 2: Group coaching for 30 days instead of your usual 6 to 8 weeks program

A shorter program to help your ideal clients. Bear in mind that this is not discounting your service. The last thing you would want to do is compete in price. It’s a race to the bottom. Don’t devalue yourself and what you have to offer regardless of the circumstances you are in.



Example 3: Mini Training or Masterclasses

This can be a series of 30 to 60 minutes long on a certain topic or a 2-hour masterclass.




What is the experience in the first 100 days that your clients NEVER EVER want to leave you? Think about what your customer journey is like from the start to finish.  Is it…

  • Seamless and valuable?
  • Simple and easy with systems?
  • Do you understand what your clients are experiencing with you?




Look into the list of your past clients. There may be a handful of clients who did not continue with you because they needed time to take actions on the strategies during the 1:1 coaching you had with them. Or maybe, your client had a baby and didn’t have time to take up on your next offer. Do they need a refresher or take their business to the next level?



It is easier to convert existing clients because they already know, like and trust you.

Change your delivery method if you need to. It’s time to adapt and pivot because we are now living the new normal. Transition into an online delivery method and help even more people, globally!

For example, if you have always been in-person coaching – take it online! The wonders of having an Internet connection. You can do an online 1:1 or group coaching, masterclasses. You can even branch out into different types of offers – ebooks, live classes or memberships!




Look through the ones who did not take up your offer. They may have not been able to work with you at that time, things may have changed but might be too busy or forgot to get in touch with you. Now’s the time to contact, have a conversation, build and nurture the relationship
